Rockhampton Backpackers is located a short walk from the Fitzroy River and CBD shops. Rockhampton is located halfway between Hervey Bay and Airlie Beach. Greyhound bus, Queensland rail and the airline all service Rockhampton daily

If driving from the north, get off the Bruce Highway and head towards the city center along Queen Elizabeth Drive. Then turn left at Edwin St,then left again at musgrave st then right at macfarlane st. Coming from the south, Turn right at Fitzroy street towards the city then go across the bridge, through the traffic lights then right at Bernard St. Then left at musgrave and finally right into Macfarlane St.
